So eBay Suspended Your Account But Wait Your Not A Scammer And You Have Just Become A Victim !!!

It has been over two years since I was first suspended from both eBay and Paypal so if you are here because you just opened an email that basically said something along the lines of thanks for your money over the years but F%#@ off for Abusing eBay, Section 9 Something or whatever other automated response they have I can assure you that you most certainly are not alone…

Lets get one thing straight there are a boatload of people that should have their accounts with eBay suspended forever. Scammers have plagued eBay for years but lets be perfectly blunt about something the average honest eBay user has nearly always been made to be the individual that ends up being victimized twice, once by the scammer and them again by eBay and Paypal.

Thousands of those scammers over the years have paid eBay Millions of dollars in fee’s for things like selling counterfeit items and eBay didn’t care less, they occasionally put on a good front for the media claiming that they were victims, doing the best they could, only a very small percentage of the items on eBay were perhaps fake.. Blah, Blah, Blah……..
Now for those of you that can read in between the lines here I am sure you know where I am going with this, lets take a wild guess as to whey I was suspended the first time….

1 - I bought a jacket in fact it was a North Face Jacket from a seller that claimed his location was actually only about 200 miles away from me, I thought perfect and made a buy it now purchase of about $225 USD. (Now I am an honest person so the last thing I have going through my head is that this jacket is a fake.)

2 - After waiting 2 weeks for my jacket that never showed up I emailed the seller. He emails me back telling me they must have made a mistake and will ship me a new one out that very day… I am thinking what a great guy, hey mistakes happen in fact just last night I tried to make dinner for the family (We ended up getting take out and once again re-confirmed to my wife why I have no place in the kitchen).

3 - 5 days latter I get a notice that a parcel has arrived and I needed to go to the post office to pick it up. I head out to the post office to check it out and my jacket has arrived BUT it was shipped from China, I have a $110 bill from customs that has to be paid before the item will be released to me, all I can think is WTF……. The guy is only 200 miles away from me according to his listing and is in the same Country as me.

4 - Being an honest regular guy (I am a computer software engineer and programmer by trade by the way, not a cook please refer to #2 above) I just figured this must be some kind of mistake so I pay the customs bill and the nice post office lady gave me the phone number for Canada Customs and tells me to explain the details of the situation and they should give me a refund.

5 - Get home open the box ready to try on my new jacket for an upcoming Weekend at Whistler and think to myself have I gained some serious weight or is this not the smallest damn XL I have every put on… But wait there’s more The Logo on my jacket say “North Fece” not “North Face”

6 - I have just realized that I have been scammed, I take a quick look at the sellers auctions and see that he has sold literally hundreds of these jackets in a time frame of 2 months… I email him and demand a refund…. I never heard anything back for 72 hours and then all of sudden see he has left me a negative feedback claiming I am a Deadbeat Bidder that I never paid for the Auction… Yes I was fairly angry at this point but believe it or not it actually gets worse.

7 - I try to find a phone number to call eBay (Guess what no phone number, I am thinking to myself how the hell does a billion dollar company not have a customer service and complaint hotline, is that even possible… Oh yes it is.)
So I email eBay and explain what has happened, at his point I have not left negative feedback for the seller only because I have not come up with what to say that is not made up of 4 letter words…

8 - I call Canada Customs to explain what has happened and see if I can get my $110 I was charged for duty, tax and an inspection charge refunded. It is just my luck I get a young girl that is clearly very new on the job and oh my gawd was she dumb…. (Only in Canada do they employ the weak and stupid in job that is supposed ensure our national security…) Anyways she asks for my address, name, receipt number and then proceeds to tell me I have a another package waiting for me and it has been seized by customs and forwarded to the Police for further inspection… Pardon me I politely ask, then she goes on telling me that she was not supposed to tell me that I was under investigation for importing fake products, but she would see if my refund request could be applied… Seriously WTF, at this point my day officially sucks.

9 - Now I live in a new neighborhood with very nosey people, it is akin to being the on the street where the Desperate Housewives live… So when the police come to my house at dinner time when everyone on the street is home and haul me out of the house in handcuffs with my kids screaming and crying in the front yard, lets just say I gave the neighbors something to talk about. Oh ya did I forget to mention my bosses son lives directly across the street…. We will get to that shortly.

10 - They tell me I have the right to remain silent and that I being brought into questioning for importation and conspiracy of trafficking in counterfeit goods. This really was not what I was expecting when I got up in the morning.

11 - After a few hours of getting raked over the coals they finally figured out that I was an actual victim, not some crime lord that was planning on taking over the world by selling fake “North Fece” jackets… Some supervisor at customs freaked out when he found out that the new girl spilled the beans to me on what was going on with my entire case.

12 - I ended up getting home at around 2 am and was not impressed, I rushed to my computer to check my email to what eBay would have to say and explain what I had just gone through, nothing… not a peep from eBay… I was exhausted and so angry that something as simple as buying a jacket on eBay could get me into a mess like this. It was time to leave my negative feedback for the seller; I got my point across and did not violate any of eBay’s terms, no contact info, no swearing, etc.. Now it was time to go to sleep and try and forget this day had every happened.

13 - Got up in the morning to go to work like any other day still in disbelief what the last 24 hours of my life had been like and actually thankful to be going to work of all places, somewhere normal and safe or at least I thought.

14 - Have a memo on my desk stating my boss would like to see me. My boss proceeds to ask me how my home life is. Bottom-line his kid called him and said I was getting hauled out of my house at dinner time in handcuffs, I got the impression that he thought I was hitting my wife or something… this was just great. I explained what had happened and he fired me on the spot. He went on a warpath about how he will never accept an employee lying to him, my explanation was absolutely ridiculous and on and on. I was just not in the mood so instead of trying to explain anything further (I mean in my own defense I was done explaining things, both mentally and physically exhausted and here I am being called a liar to my face.) I punched my boss in the face and ended up breaking his nose… (Score one for the little guy…) Now I fully expected to be arrested over this I mean come on now I walk out of the bosses office with blood all over my white dress shirt, the boss is running down the hall screaming with blood gushing from his face and when everyone asks me what just happened all I said was that I got fired for getting arrested last night, proceeded to grab my jacket and blackberry and left.

15 - Driving home with blood all over my shirt was a first for me and one that I hope to never repeat, it was very embarrassing pulling into my driveway only to have the my mailman of 4 years walk up to my drivers side window to say hi and hand me my mail, the look of absolute shock is one that to this day I cant get out of my head and we have never spoke about it since.

16 - Now fully expecting to have the police at my door anytime now I thought I would check my email to see if eBay had bothered to email me back yet. Yes eBay emailed me back but they suspended my account for a blanket section 9 infraction which I have come to learn can be absolutely anything for any reason (Its sort of like being arrested on the suspision of being suspious). This was absolute nonsense, I was the victim and now I am clearly being treated as some sort of criminal.
That’s right people eBay suspended me and left the seller of fake “North Face” jackets in the clear, they even froze my Paypal account which had over $2500 in it for the past couple of days of sales.
I had a feedback of over 4000 and I would say 99% of those were from my selling account, I had been on eBay for 6 or so years and made just as much selling on it as I did at my job, and like that I had both taken away from me in an instant, I was completely freaking out now.

Over the course of the next few weeks I did everything eBay and Paypal asked of me and followed the rules to the letter. I faxed in all of my identification, bills you name it. All I ever got back was canned automated responses that really had absolutely nothing to do with my actually problem. Bottom line is eBay suspended my account Indefinitely and froze my Paypal account for a claimed 180 days, on top of that they suspended both my wife’s eBay and Paypal account and claimed they had linked them to mine, come on now we live in the same house of course the address will be the same.

To this day over two years latter eBay has never lifted the suspension against my account and Paypal has never gave me back a cent of my money they just kept and stole. After the 180 days were up I tried to get access to my Paypal account to withdraw the funds but they locked access to my account for good and I could not access it.

The sad facts of life, I have no income coming in and have bills and a mortgage to deal with.
I never went back looking for another job and have spent nearly 12 – 16 hours a day damn near every single day building my own little empire out on the Internet. I don’t like talking about money as I really do feel it is tacky but I feel good in knowing that I make more now in a single year than I made in 10 at my job, and I was paid very well.

I have put my heart in soul into what I do now and feel privileged to be able to show people that have been put in the same situation as I was there is a way out with a much brighter future.

The one absolute necessity for people wanting to make money on the Internet especially in the beginning is selling with eBay. No other website gives your product or service the exposure and ready to throw money at you buyers that eBay does but if you get suspended and or banned that’s it, door closed, all your hard work, feedback, reputation and hours and hours of work are gone forever.

This website will teach you how to legally get new selling accounts back up on eBay without breaking any of their rule within 30 minutes flat.
I have several accounts back up eBay that we use for selling that all have feedback levels over 5000 and Paypal accounts that consistently bring in thousands of dollars a day without any problems.

If your interested in making real money online both on and off eBay I suggest you bookmark this site right now, I can promise you it will be the best decision you will every make.
